Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Military and Veterans Affairs Grier Martin, sits in a CH-53E Super Stallion at the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit (CNATTU) on Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River in Jacksonville, North Carolina, Oct. 2, 2024. During his first official visit as Secretary of North Carolina Military and Veterans Affairs, Martin met with senior leaders, viewed several training areas, and toured the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs Benefits Delivery at Discharge site on MCB Camp Lejeune.
