The U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity team gathers for an awards ceremony and “Farewell Fiesta” at the installation chapel, Fort Detrick, Md., Oct. 4, 2024. During the ceremony, the team bade farewell to Sean O’Day, director of USAMMDA’s Program Support Division, and U.S. Army Col. Andy Nuce, USAMMDA’s commander. O’Day is retiring after 30 years’ U.S. Army and federal government service, and Nuce is scheduled to relinquish command later this month.
