New York Army National Guard aviators assigned to B Company, 3rd Battalion 126th General Support Aviation Battalion offload a Razor vehicle assigned to the 10th Special Forces Group from Fort Liberty, North Carolina, at Mountain Heritage High School in Burnsville, North Carolina on October 3, 2024. The Special Forces soldiers were going to be using the vehicles to conduct search and rescue missions in areas not accessible to standard vehicles. The New York National Guard deployed three CH-47f Chinook heavy lift helicopters and 16 Soldiers to assist North Carolina. ( U.S. National Guard photo by Staff Sgt. Samuel Sacco)
