U.S. Navy Sailors assigned to the America-class amphibious assault ship USS Tripoli (LHA-7), U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 11, Academy of Art University students, and members of the Boys and Girls Club of San Francisco play basketball during the Hoops with the Troops event at Pier 30 in San Francisco during San Francisco Fleet Week 2024, Oct. 7, 2024 San Francisco Fleet Week, now in its 43rd iteration, is a time-honored sea service celebration that allows citizens of the Bay Area to witness today’s maritime capabilities firsthand.
