Col. Jeremy St. Laurent, commander, 597th Transportation Brigade, and Command Sgt. Maj. Thomas Skelton, announced that the Rapid Support brigade has authorized the awarding of 23 streamers during a Streamer Ceremony at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va. April 14.
During the announcement, a sudden downpour caused a small flash flood in the motor pool, bringing a moment of delight to the Soldiers in the formation.
The categories include a Barracks excellence streamer for having the cleanest room, the maintenance excellence streamer for having top maintenance readiness, drivers excellence streamer for reaching 90 days without any accidents, the ACFT excellence streamer, The BRM streamer for having the most expert firers on both individual and crew served weapons systems.
