PHILIPPINE SEA (Oct. 8, 2024) An MH-60S Seahawk Helicopter, assigned to the “Wildcards” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 23, starts engines on the flight deck aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4) as the ship transits the Philippine Sea, Oct. 8, 2024. The U.S. Department of Defense is supporting the Republic of the Philippines at the request of the Government of the Philippines and providing foreign disaster relief in the aftermath of Typhoon Krathon (Julian) in Northern Luzon.
