VISAKHAPATNAM, India (Oct. 8, 2024) – The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105), left, the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) Murasame-class destroyer JS Ariake (DD 109), right, and the Royal Australian Navy Anzac-class frigate HMAS Stuart (FFH 153), far right, sit pierside at Indian Navy Submarine Base Virbahu after arriving in Visakhapatnam, India, Oct. 8 for Exercise Malabar 2024. Malabar 24 is a combined field training exercise with the Royal Australian Navy, Indian Navy, JMSDF and U.S. Navy participants.
