3-238th Aviation Regiment, maneuver past The Gordie Howe International Bridge , an international suspension bridge across the Detroit River that connects Detroit with Ontario.
The 3-238th aviation regiment flies toward the “Big House” stadium at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan . As a community engagement event, three Boeing CH-47 Chinooks (Aircraft 08706,Aircraft 08813, and Aircraft 08815) participated in a flyover for the Michigan Wolverines vs. The Minnesota Golden Gophers game, Sept. 28, 2024. However due to rain and heavy fog, limiting Visibility and flight ceiling, the crew was forced to land and return.
