Naval Support Activity Philadelphia held a Dignified Flag Disposal Ceremony on Oct. 8. Personnel, including the NSA Philadelphia Honor Guard, respectfully retired the American flags in accordance with the U.S. Flag Code. Capt. Johnetta C. Thomas, Commanding Officer at NSA Philadelphia provided remarks highlighting the significance of the flags and the ideals they represent. The solemn ceremony concluded with the symbolic burning of two flags, while others were disposed of by base personnel after the ceremony.
