Reactivation ceremonies represent the revival of a unit's storied legacy and its operational mission, celebrating the traditions that have shaped it and the renewed commitment of its members to serve. The reactivation of the 73rd GS MICO marks the first time since May of 1979 that the unit has been assembled, following the unit's redesignation from the 73rd Aviation Company on June 30, 1973.
