U.S. Marine Corps Recruit Dylan Smith, a recruit with Delta Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, fires his M16A4 service rifle during a table two course of fire at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Oct. 9, 2024. The table two course of fire builds upon techniques that recruits were taught during table one and introduced them to “failure to stop” and “box” drills as well as firing on moving targets.
