U.S. Soldiers assigned to Mountain Training Group, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, NY, pose for a photo outside of the Kolovrat Museum of the First World War in Volce, Slovenia, Oct. 6, 2024. The team visited the museum to learn the history of mountaineering warfare during the First World War, further building the Mountain Training Groups legacy and lessons to bring back to the 10th Mountain Division. The Mountain Training Group is in Slovenia participating in exercise Triglav Star 24, a multinational NATO mountain warfare exercise, where partnered nations come together to execute mountain warfare training and increase interoperability.
