U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Sean Sturrock, with 2nd Medical Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, and a native of Atlanta, Georgia, poses for a portrait during the 2nd Medical Battalion Certification Training Exercise 24.4 on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Sept. 24, 2024. According to Sturrock’s leadership, he was selected as Warrior of the Week for his assistance in the operational planning for third platoon during the company-wide CERTEX while also serving as the shock trauma platoon bed team lead. When asked what drives him, Sturrock replied, “I just fell in love with medicine, treating all the Marines and Sailors while getting to know them is something I look forward to.” Each week, 2nd MLG recognizes one outstanding Marine or Sailor that goes above and beyond in their duties and embodies the qualities of an outstanding service member.
