Lt. Col. Carrie Hironaka, 203rd Air Refueling Squadron commander, goes over pre-flight details with KC-135 Stratotanker crew chiefs from the 154th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport, Hawaii, Oct. 10, 2024. An air-refueling sortie was held in support of the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center 25-01, an exercise designed to enhance readiness in environments and conditions where U.S. and allied forces are likely to operate. Participants and aircraft from Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam comprise total-force Airmen from the Hawaii Air National Guard and Active Duty personnel from the 15th Wing, who supported more than 10,000 joint service members and international partners in training scenarios throughout the Indo-Pacific Region.
