Soldiers from U.S. Army Fort Campbell Soldier Recovery Unit (SRU) participated in a 62 mile bike ride this week.
The intent is to provide holistic/comprehensive care to include cognitive, emotional, and physical activities within each Soldier’s individual abilities in order to facilitate a successful transition in which Soldiers achieve optimal well-being and maximum functional return.
A low impact activity that can provide moderate to high intensity training, which aids in the healing & recovery process.
Adaptive cycling program for beginners to advanced riders, regardless of injury or illness Bicycles fitted based on injury.
Participation in the ride is a recovery milestone for some wounded, ill and injured Soldiers who come to the SRU.
