U.S. Army Spc. Ross Morrison, originally from Alameda, Calif., and Spc. Michael Phillips, a native of Clemson, S.C., load belts of .50 cal. ammunition onto a Stryker armored vehicle during live-fire training, Feb. 24. Both Soldiers are assigned to the Fort Wainwright, AK, which is taking part in Exercise Key Resolve/Foal Eagle 2008 in the Republic of Korea. KR/FE 2008 is an annual combined/joint exercise involving forces from both the U.S. and Republic of Korea. This exercise provides training to further enhance interoperability and combat readiness, while also demonstrating both countries' commitment to the ROK/US alliance.
