ROTA, Spain- Members of Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Rota were able to display the power of partnership with a recent military drill executing response efforts to a simulated aircraft-mishap exercise. Hospitalman Third Class Christian Thorpey, a Multi Service Ward Corpsman, simulates being a patient in need of emergent medical care. Collaboration with host nation emergency responder team Emergencias Sanitarias 061 helps to prepare military medical personnel and first responders with the skills and coordination necessary to respond effectively in real-life emergency situations.
