Senior Airman Mark Lyons, 168th Civil Engineering Electrician, gives a thumbs up after adding his name inside the newly installed electrical panel box to improve the 168 CE flow of operations within the CE building as part of a remodel project and training opportunity to increase career field skills. Lyons is an electrician in the Alaska Air National Guard and the civilian sector. The 168 CES construction project included a kitchen remodel and washroom addition, allowing the Civil Engineering Squadron Airmen to train and increase their skills as well as train their fellow Airmen to be ready to deploy anywhere, anytime, and be called upon for service to the nation. The CE project improved operations and quality of life for state workers and Airmen assigned to the 168th Wing to help with possible 24/7 operations.
