Oklahoma Army National Guard members pose next to local first responders and citizens who are assisting in distributing food, fuel and other supplies to communities affected by Hurricane Helene on Oct. 14, 2024. At the request of the North Carolina Department of Emergency Management and approved by Gov. Kevin Stitt, the Oklahoma National Guard activated one CH-47 Chinook and crew to assist in Hurricane Helene relief efforts.
