NizRamirez, a combat engineer with Mobility Assault Company, 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, 1st Marine Division, simulates losing control during a static cliff rappelling event as part of a two-day rappel training exercise at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Oct. 16, 2024.
