YORKTOWN, Va. (September 19, 2024) A composite group of Sailors assigned to Naval Weapons Station Yorktown march proudly in the annual Yorktown Day parade in historic Yorktown, Virginia. The event commemorates the end of the Siege of Yorktown which occurred on October 19, 1781. On that day, British Forces surrendered to a combined force of American Continental Army and French Army Troops.
