The Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal is presented to U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Olson, a San Diego native, received the medal for rescuing two individuals who were struggling to stay afloat in rough waters, showcasing his exceptional dedication and performance as a Marine.
