YOKOSUKA, Japan (Oct. 18, 2024) – Hiroshi Hayakawa speaks at the 2024 Master Labor Contractor (MLC) Length-of-Service Award Ceremony at Yokosuka Bunka Kaikan Friday, October 18, 2024. Hayakawa represented all awardees at the night's event and was himself commended for 40 years of service to Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka. U.S. Forces Japan and the Government of Japan's Ministry of Defense recognized 570 employees Friday, October 18 during the 2024 Master Labor Contractor (MLC) Length-of-Service Award Ceremony at Yokosuka Bunka Kaikan. Recipients were honored and recognized for 10, 20, 30 and 40-years of service. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
