More than 100 soldiers with the 36th Combat Aviation Brigade, Texas Army National Guard, said a formal farewell to their families as they mobilized to deploy to Kuwait at a ceremony Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at the Austin Army Aviation Facility in Austin, Texas. The 36th CAB, which will provide AH-64 Apache and UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter support in several theater areas of operations, will first travel to Fort Hood, Texas, for final deployment training and in-processing before heading overseas.
