The 201st Multi-functional Training Regiment (MFTR) of the Puerto Rico National Guard recognized Soldiers' excellent work, dedication, and commitment in a ceremony held at Fort Allen, Juana Díaz, Oct. 20, 2024. The MFTR recognized the Instructor of the Quarters and the Instructor of the Year. Soldiers who support the State Partnership Program (SPP) were recognized, too. The recognition for the Instructor of the Quarters went to Staff Sgt. Freddy J. Lorenzo for the 1st Qtr., Sgt. Juan Pérez Pérez for the 2nd Qtr. and Sgt. Krestin Laboy for the 4th Qtr. Sgt. Laboy also received the Instructor of the Year Award. In recognition of supporting the SPP, the awardees are Sgt 1st Class Antonio L. Otero, Sgt. 1st Class Yamil Dávila Rodríguez, and Staff Sgt. Suleika Báez Díaz. These recognitions result from our soldiers' selfless service and commitment, showing higher standards, setting examples as Instructors, and being dedicated and actively engaged with our Partner Nations.
