U.S. Marine Capt. Brian Psolka conducts pre-flight checks on an MV-22B Osprey at Wing 41 Royal Thai Air Force Base, Chiang Mai province, Kingdom of Thailand, Feb. 21 during exercise Cobra Gold 2013. The Osprey’s unique tilt-rotor system provides valuable capabilities unavailable in other aircraft. Psolka, who is an Osprey pilot assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265, Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force, participated in Cobra Gold, an exercise designed to enhance interoperability with multinational forces and strengthen relationships in the Asia-Pacific region.
