The USAV Runnymede (Landing Craft Utility 2001) is the first of the U.S. Army's large LCU watercraft series and serves within the U.S. Southern Command's area of operations and is a vital asset to U.S. Army South for humanitarian-related missions. The LCU 2001 was christened in 1987 and named after the meadow where the Magna Carta was signed. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Barbara J. Liau/Released)
