Sebastien Welch, an officer student at Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) AEGIS Training and Readiness Center (ATRC), shares his training experience with the Reconfigurable Combat Information Center Trainer (RCT) to U.S. Naval Academy Midshipman Kevin Lam during Lam's visit to SCSTC ATRC onboard Naval Support Facility Dahlgren, Oct. 24. The RCT is part of the Director, Surface Warfare’s (OPNAV N96) program of record, Surface Training Advanced Virtual Environment-Combat Systems, which was introduced in 2015 as a means to invest in training technologies, devices, and facilities to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and availability of all surface training.
