Contestants participate in the 2024 Marine Corps Recruit Depot Boot Camp Challenge, Oct. 19, 2024. For the past 23 years, MCRD San Diego has hosted the bootcamp Challenge, a three-mile obstacle course race guided by 60 drill instructors that highlights the physical and mental demands of bootcamp.
