Capt. Matthew Loe (second from right), executive officer of NMRTC Lemoore and a Galveston native, joins Rear Adm. Guido Valdes (second from left), commander of Naval Medical Forces Pacific and chief of the Navy Medica Corps, and the Navy Medicine team at Shriners Children’s Texas in Galveston, Texas, on Oct. 22 for an opportunity to explore the hospital’s capabilities and meet with the hospital’s staff, led by Chief of Staff Dr. Jong Lee (center). The visit highlighted the hospital’s comprehensive care for children, including prosthetic services, music therapy, and specialized education programs.
