Congressman Jay Obernolte visited Marine Depot Maintenance Command, Production Plant Barstow accompanied with his wife, Heather Obernolte, and the Flyer Defense Team at Yermo Annex aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, California, October 28. Leading the tour of the facilities was Col. Charles Dudik, chief of staff, MCIWEST, David Mercia, industrial tech engineer, Sharmell Samples, manager program management division, and other MDMC PPB personnel. The objective of the visit was to provide the congressman with a brief overview of MDMC's capabilities, including an examination of the enhancements made to the Reset GMV 1.1 vehicles and the future prospects ahead. Congressman Obernolte previously visited MDMC PPB in 2015 while serving as an assemblyman for the 33rd District; this marks his inaugural visit in his capacity as a congressman.
