U.S. Army Green Berets assigned to Special Operations Command-Korea and Soldiers from Republic of Korea Special Warfare Command board a U.S. Army CH-47 Chinook assigned to the 2nd Infantry Division/ROK-US Combined Division on Oct. 23, 2024, at a drop zone south of Camp Humphreys, ROK. The combined group conducted high-altitude, high-opening jump training to maintain their military free fall proficiency. U.S. and ROK special operations personnel conduct regular training to enable a credible integrated deterrence force capable of meeting crisis response requirements directed by their nations’ senior leaders.
