Navy and Marine Corps Force Health Protection Command (NMCFHPC) held a promotion ceremony for Command Master Chief Francisco Moreno, Nov 1, 2024. During the ceremony, Chief Hospital Corpsman Katrine Roark, an independent duty corpsman with NMCFHPC, lead the recitation of the Chief Petty Officer’s creed. Capt. Marion Gregg, commander, NMCFHPC, and director, Defense Center for Public Health Portsmouth, presided over the ceremony, which was held in the building three chapel, on Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, in Virginia. Just over one percent of Sailors are promoted to the rank of Command Master Chief. Command Master Chief Moreno will be preparing for his next role as Command Master Chief of the U.S. Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Guantanamo Bay. Fair winds and following seas.
