The building is equipped with many energy saving measures to include lighting that automatically turns off a majority of the interior lights during overnight hours . The Fort Bragg Directorate of Public Works partnered on an existing mission with the Army Reserve’s Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 169th Aviation Regiment to see where light energy was being wasted in an effort to reduce the post’s energy consumption.
