Sean Homburger, an engineer assigned to the Forward Engineer Support Team - Advance, 510th Regionals Support Group, with a coin for his exceptional work in preparing the unit for deployment, during a ceremony, Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, at Daenner Kaserne, in Kaiserslautern, Germany.
The 589th deployed to the middle east in support of U.S. Army Central Command, demonstrating the effectiveness of the forward headquartered U.S. Army Reserve presence, the 7th Mission Support Command.
The 7th Mission Support Command is the U.S. Army Reserve presence in Europe. Comprised of 26 units across Germany and Italy, the 7th MSC provides logistical and sustainment resources in support of U.S. Army Europe - Africa missions across the theater.
