Fleet Readiness Center Southwest team welcomes Commander, Naval Air Forces VADM Daniel Cheever during his visit aboard Naval Air Station North Island, Calif., October 30, 2024. FRCSW team hosted the tour for the CNAF Commander which comprised of the command’s facilities, and overview of the F/A-18 Service Life Extension line. The vice admiral also had a look of the command’s first F16 A/C aircraft to be serviced by its team of artisans. The F16s will be the new program and focus for FRCSW’s engineers and artisans, as the command steers toward the future of maintenance, repair and overhaul.
