PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 6, 2024) Command Master Chief Benjamin Washington, center, assigned to the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4) and a native of Rochester, New York, transports a chock to a MH-60S Knighthawk attached to the “Wildcards” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 23 piloted by Boxer’s Commanding Officer Capt. Brian Holmes, a native of Winchester, Massachusetts, on the flight deck as the ship steams in the Pacific Ocean, Nov. 6, 2024. Boxer and embarked elements of the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit are conducting routine operations in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
