U.S. Army Reserve Maj. Jeff Cortez, the commander of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 7th Mission Support Command is awarded the meritorious service medal by U.S. Army Reserve Col. Charles Moulton, the 7th MSC's deputy commanding officer, during battle assembly, Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024, at the command headquarters on Daenner Kaserne in Kaiserslautern, Germany.
Battle assemblies allow Reserve Soldiers to tackle training as it relates to the real-world mission of their unit when employed on the battlefield.
The 7th Mission Support Command is the U.S. Army Reserve presence in Europe. Comprised of 26 units across Germany and Italy, the 7th MSC provides logistical and sustainment resources in support of U.S. Army Europe - Africa missions across the theater.
