Hurricane Milton Emergency Field Office (EFO) commander Maj. Cory Bell and Brian Schmit, a US Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District employee serving as a national local government liaison, met with Federal Emergency Management Agency and Emergency Management officials, Nov. 9, at their Disaster Recovery Center in Seminole County to provide one-on-one Blue Roof assistance to Floridians affected by Hurricane Milton. USACE is working in partnership with the local, state, and federal response to Hurricane Milton. FEMA has assigned the USACE the Temporary Roofing mission known as Operation Blue Roof.
