Soldiers participate in the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge (GAFPB) qualification at Army North on Nov. 6, 2024. In the marksmanship portion of the GAFPB, soldiers are judged on: distance, number of targets hit, position of firing, and number of shots. The GAFPB is a foreign badge that can be worn by both officers and enlisted personnel in the U.S. Army. It can also be used in the qualification portion of the U.S. Army Reserve Best Warrior Competition. (U.S. Army photo by CIV Christopher Grissett)
