U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, observe vehicle operations during a night driving course on Kin Blue Beach, Okinawa, Japan, Nov. 6, 2024 During the course, Marines conducted a black-out driving exercise that allows for the tactical movements of vehicles to remain concealed in darkness. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps' only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible and lethal force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premier crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
