The Industrial Hygiene Officer (IHO) community hosted the 2024 IHO Indoctrination Course for 13 junior IHOs 21 October to 8 November 2024 in Norfolk VA. This 3-week course was designed to provide junior IHOs vital training to ensure success both as scientists and as Naval Officers. This course provided information on a variety of officer professional development topics, allowed hands-on training with sampling equipment, provided information exposure assessment information, and included several tours such as the USS DWIGHT D.
