On Veterans Day, Seabees, veterans, family members, and community members gathered at Gardiner Cemetery in Sequim, Washington, to honor Construction Mechanic Third Class Marvin Glenn Shields. The tribute, attended by his widow, Joan Shields-Bennett, marks the 60th anniversary of his sacrifice at the Battle of Dong Xoai, Vietnam, in June.
