U.S. Army Master Sgt. Khalia D. Jackson, Operations Sergeant Major for the 74th Troop Command, District of Columbia National Guard, is promoted to the rank of Sergeant Major during a promotion ceremony at the D.C. Armory, in Washington, D.C., Nov. 15, 2024. The ceremony was officiated by Col. R. Brian Deaton, Chief of Staff for the DCARNG and the Commander of the 74th Troop Command. Jackson enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves in 2000 where she served as a Multimedia Illustrator until 2002 when she transferred to the D.C. National Guard.
