A boxcar is separated from its chassis during a railcar recycling program underway at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach. The program will see the recycling of over 2,500 tons of steel from 126 boxcars and flatcars that had previously been used to transport munitions around the installation, while generating a net profit to be used for future Navy recycling efforts.
