Clyde Romero, an Army aviation warrant officer with 2d Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division during Vietnam, spoke to Army aviation leaders and Soldiers about his personal experiences as an OH-6 Cayuse pilot in Operation Lam Son 719, the largest helicopter assault in Vietnam, during a Leader Professional Development session at Fort Novosel, Ala., Nov. 8, 2024.
