MIAMI – (Nov. 18, 2024) – Lt. Gen. Leonard Anderson, Commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Reserve/U.S. Marine Corps Forces South, presents Marine perspectives during the Combined Force Maritime Component Commander (CFMCC) Flag Course at USSOUTHCOM headquarters, November 13-19, 2024. Lt. Gen. Anderson served as a guest speaker for this year’s course, which featured nineteen partner nation senior officers and nine U.S. flag and general officers. The purpose of the CFMCC flag course is to improve the effectiveness of senior leaders (flag and general officers) who routinely work together at the operational level of command and control. USNAVSOUTH/ FOURTHFLT is the trusted maritime partner for Caribbean, Central and South America maritime forces leading to improved unity, security, and stability.
