Todd Allison, deputy commander, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, gives remarks during the 21st TSC Veteran's Day Ceremony at the Daenner Chapel, Daenner Kaserne, Kaiserslautern, Germany, on Nov. 13, 2024. Nov. 12 was the 106th Anniversary of the end of World War 1 which was deemed Veteran's Day. On Oct. 8th, 1954, President Dwight D. Eisenhower issued the first "Veterans Day Proclamation" which stated: "In order to insure proper and widespread observance of this anniversary, all veterans, all veterans' organizations, and the entire citizenry will wish to join hands in the common purpose.
