A newly refurbished U.S. Air Force T-33 Shooting Star is displayed at the Lee County Veterans Museum, Bishopville, S.C., Nov. 11, 2024. The T-33 was originally designed for training pilots and was flown by the U.S. Air Force from 1948 to the early 1980s. The T-33 continues to embody Air Force excellence and readiness as a display model at the LCVM. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Steven Cardo)
