Fleet Readiness Center Southwest recognizes Pedro Fuentes for his outstanding contribution as one of the supervisors in the command. Fuentes, a vertical lift aircraft overhaul and repair supervisor, received the supervisor of the year award. He was recognized by Commander, Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) for achieving the highest score among all sites for fiscal year 2024. Fuentes was specifically chosen for a 90-day TDY assignment to Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii in preparation for the fiscal year 2024 Aviation Maintenance Management Team inspection. During that period, he assessed and corrected more than 30 discrepancies resulting in all 18 graded programs receiving an on-track assessment from the AMMT inspection. Fuentes also received recognition from the NAVAIR Aviation Maintenance I Team, FRCSW CO/XO, Executive Leadership Team and his peers for his outstanding leadership skills and efforts.
